Out-of-Hours care,advice your clients trust

A limp at 10pm, a strange rash on a Sunday, or something eaten that shouldn’t have been. Without guidance, clients aren’t sure whether to wait or seek care. VidiVet gives them advice from an experienced vet at the times you choose, so they know what to do next.

Complementing your out-of-hours

Not a replacement - a partner

If you outsource your out-of-hours, non-urgent cases come back to your daytime diary. If you run your own, you see urgent cases immediately and everything else is advised your team is available for them 24/7.

FAQs

Got a question about VidiVet out of hours?

Everything you need to know about supporting your clients when you're closed.

Does VidiVet replace my out-of-hours provider?

No. VidiVet gives clients vet advice, but it isn't an out-of-hours practice and doesn't cover your obligation to provide out-of-hours care. It works alongside your existing provider.

Is it a video call service?

No. Clients start a conversation in the app whenever they need to, and one of our experienced vets replies with a recorded video they can watch back at any time.

Will VidiVet take clients away from my practice?

No. Our experienced vets guide clients back to you, with clear next steps. Every conversation is shared with your practice, with clinical notes, so you're ready when they arrive.

What happens if a pet needs urgent care?

Our experienced vets tell the client to contact your out-of-hours provider straight away.

We run our own out-of-hours service. Does VidiVet still work for us?

Yes. You decide what clients are told, so they always know how to reach your own team when their pet needs to be seen. Talk to us about how practices like yours use VidiVet.

Can we choose when clients can use it?

Yes. You may choose to set your opening hours, and clients can only use VidiVet when you're closed. Want daytime cover too? See VidiVet 24/7.

How quickly do vets reply?

Average response under 10 minutes. Your clients get fast access to experienced vets, day or night.

Who are the vets?

All VidiVet vets are RCVS-registered. For more information, visit our vet team page.
