This privacy policy applies to all information collected through our website (such as support@vidivet.com), mobile application, (“Apps”), and/or any related services, sales, marketing or events (we refer to them collectively in this privacy policy as the “Site/Sites”).

Welcome to the VidiVet Privacy Policy (the “Policy”).
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
It is important that you read this Policy together with our Terms and Conditions of Use.
By registering with the Site, you agree that we can collect, transfer, store, disclose and use your information as described in this Policy.
This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.
This Site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children. Please read the following carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

Pet Data. We collect data you provide about your pet, including pet’s name, age, weight, breed, and other similar pet profile data.

We may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, as well as from other third parties. Examples of the information we receive from other sources include: social media profile information; marketing leads and search results and links, including paid listings (such as sponsored links).

Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or our assets.
Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this privacy policy.

6. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 7 years past the termination of the user’s account.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
8. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Sites is at your own risk. We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age.
